1. Current offers are pre-launch
The website currently describes planned free, Hubly+, Family, Business and verification services. Founder Beta prices displayed on the site are indicative launch offers:
- Hubly+ Founder Beta: £2.99 per month during Beta;
- Founder Verification: £4.99 per month during Beta;
- Family: pricing to be announced before Beta; and
- Business: tailored pricing following direct discussion.
Features, eligibility and launch timing may change before purchase. The checkout or order page will control if it differs from this pre-launch description. We will always show the final price and material terms before the payment button.
2. What verification means
Hubly verification is intended to give members clearer information about who is behind a Hub. Depending on the category, checks may cover identity, authority to represent an organisation, control of an official channel, rights in a name, community category and relevant safety or authenticity signals.
A verification badge or passport means only that specified checks were completed at a stated time. It is not:
- a guarantee that every statement or item of content is accurate;
- an endorsement, credit check, professional licence or safety guarantee;
- a promise that the verified person or organisation will always comply with Hubly rules; or
- ownership of the Hub name or priority over stronger legal rights.
Approval is never automatic. Hubly may request evidence, refuse an application, limit the scope displayed, recheck information, suspend a badge during review or remove verification if information is false, outdated, transferred without approval or connected with a serious policy breach. Where appropriate, we will explain a decision and offer review.
3. Verification evidence and privacy
Before a verification application opens, we will explain the evidence needed, which details may appear publicly, how long evidence is kept and whether a specialist provider performs a check. We will collect only what is reasonably needed for the relevant verification category.
Do not send identity documents to the general contact form or email unless Hubly specifically requests them using an approved method. Registering interest now requires no identity document. See the Privacy Notice.
4. Information shown before a future purchase
Before you place a paid order, Hubly will clearly identify:
- the service, key features, eligibility and any important technical requirements;
- the total recurring price, billing interval and any one-off amount;
- whether there is a free or discounted period and the price after it ends;
- when the service starts, the initial commitment and whether it renews automatically;
- how to cancel online, when cancellation takes effect and how renewal reminders work;
- any statutory cancellation right and how to exercise it;
- what happens to features, content or verification after cancellation;
- available payment methods, customer support and the complaints process; and
- the platform and subscription terms that form the contract.
We will not use a pre-ticked box or inactivity to start a paid subscription. The payment action will make clear that placing the order creates an obligation to pay.
5. Renewals, cancellation and reminders
For any automatically renewing consumer subscription, Hubly will provide a straightforward online cancellation route. We will explain the cancellation deadline, effective date and continued access before purchase. We will also provide legally required reminders before a trial or introductory offer converts and at appropriate points before renewal.
Cancelling a subscription will not normally delete a Hubly account. It may remove paid features or a paid verification badge at the end of the paid period. The final terms will explain what happens to stored content, exports and free features.
6. Statutory cancellation rights and refunds
Consumers buying online may have a legal right to cancel within a specified period. The exact right can depend on whether the order is for a service or digital content and whether performance starts immediately at the consumer's request. Hubly will provide the required cancellation information and model cancellation method before purchase.
If starting a service or digital content during a statutory cancellation period affects that right, we will ask for the legally required express request or acknowledgement. Nothing in Hubly's terms will remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights where a digital service is not as described, of satisfactory quality or supplied with reasonable care and skill.
Any additional Hubly refund promise, service credit or Beta guarantee will be stated at checkout. Because no payment is currently taken, there is no payment to cancel or refund through this pre-launch website.
7. Business and organisation plans
Business, school, charity, public-sector and other organisation plans may be subject to an order form and negotiated terms. The person accepting must have authority to bind the organisation. Consumer cancellation rules may not apply to a business purchase, but pricing, scope, renewal and termination terms will still be stated before commitment.
8. Questions, complaints and review
For a pricing, verification or subscription question, email [email protected]. To challenge a verification decision, identify the application, decision and evidence you want reviewed. The more detailed platform complaint route will be available before Beta.
